ELCHK Kwai Shing Hostel Aromatherapy Workshop Series 2025

Co-INSPIRE partnered with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong Social Service's Kwai Shing Hostel to deliver a 12-session aromatherapy workshop series from April to June 2025, bringing meaningful learning experiences to residents with moderate intellectual disabilities.

Exploring Essential Oils

Residents learned about different essential oils and their properties while creating hands-on products under instructor guidance.

12 Handmade Products

Over the course, residents created: essential oil rollers, alcohol-free insect repellent spray, cooling spray, tea candles, mosquito repellent balm, lip balm, Dragon Boat Festival sachets, Easter diffuser stones, alcohol-free perfume, hand soap, floating bottles, and essential oil moisturiser.

Sharing Joy

The workshops not only taught product-making skills but also provided emotional support and a sense of achievement, with residents proudly sharing their creations with family.
