Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School — 2023 Cinematic Filmmaking & Editing Course

Life is often compared to a movie — how do we capture life's light and shadow?

At Pentecostal Lam Hon Kwong School, we held a cinematic filmmaking and editing course designed for junior secondary students, teaching them how to shoot and edit short films in a cinematic style from scratch.

Students explored video recording and editing techniques, learning scene selection, camera angles, lighting, music and editing for dramatic effect.

At the end of the course, students showcased their final works to others, sharing their creations and proudly displaying their achievements.

The course was not just about learning but also practising and sharing. Students cultivated creativity and expression through exploring filmmaking.
