Teaching Challenges During the Pandemic

Since entering 2020, repeated pandemic waves greatly reduced opportunities for in-person teaching, making online distance learning increasingly important. INSPIRE Education® embraced online teaching during the pandemic, utilising various teaching tools so students could still learn drone operation and Tello EDU programming courses.

In December 2020, INSPIRE Education, together with Inno Space and the Eastern District Office, organised a large-scale online drone awareness and programming workshop for students from over 10 primary and secondary schools in the Eastern District. Due to the pandemic, the originally planned in-person course had to be converted to online live streaming. INSPIRE instructors prepared a series of brand-new learning materials, including online real-time Q&A platforms, online interactive tools, mobile flight and programming simulators, so that even without direct access to drones for programming, students could experience the joy of coding through various tools and explore more STEM knowledge!
