INSPIRE® 2026–27 School Workshop Directions | Design Thinking × AI × Student Wellness

The 2026–27 school year is almost here. In a world of exploding AI tools, rapid workplace disruption, and growing student mental health concerns, what should schools actually be preparing students for?

INSPIRE®, COXANA's flagship education brand, has served over 100+ schools and organisations, 10,000+ students, and accumulated 3,200+ teaching hours. That experience has shown us one thing clearly:

Real education means seeing the person first — then using technology to solve their problems.

This article introduces the four school workshop directions INSPIRE® is launching for 2026–27, and how we help schools integrate Design Thinking, Technology Education, and Student Wellbeing into a genuinely effective learning experience.

Why the 2026–27 School Year Demands a Different Approach

Hong Kong schools are facing three compounding pressures right now:

  1. The AI Disruption — ChatGPT and generative AI are already part of students' daily lives. How does the curriculum respond?
  2. The Student Mental Health Crisis — Post-pandemic re-entry, exam pressure, and social difficulties have made resilience-building more urgent than ever.
  3. Intensifying University Competition — Interview skills, portfolios, and personal statements are increasingly demanding, but most schools lack the resources to support them.

INSPIRE®'s response is not to add more technology classes. It is to ask a more fundamental question: Without guidance, can a student define a problem, integrate resources, and create something of value?

This is the rarest — and most irreplaceable — human capability in the age of AI.

INSPIRE®'s Four-Layer Education Framework

Our curriculum is built around a systematic growth pathway — from the inside out, from the person to the technology:

  1. Wellbeing and Personal Development — Grounding mental health and resilience. The foundation for all learning.
  2. Empathy and Design Thinking — Understanding users and defining the real nature of problems before jumping to solutions.
  3. Technology and AI Application — Using technology to make ideas real. Shifting students from consumers to creators.
  4. Empowerment and Communication — Building confidence and influence, so students' voices are genuinely heard.

1. Design Thinking Workshops

Design Thinking Workshop — students conducting empathy interviews and user journey mapping

Core idea: Before solving a problem, truly see what the problem actually is.

Design Thinking is the soul of everything INSPIRE® does. It is not a toolkit — it is a thinking habit. Starting from empathy, genuinely understanding users' pain points, then moving to ideation, prototyping, and testing solutions.

Our 2026–27 Design Thinking workshops cover: User Journey Mapping and pain point analysis, 3D model design and prototyping, and AI-assisted rapid prototyping and testing. Ideal for school STEM programmes, career planning activities, cross-curricular learning weeks, and pre-competition training — aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals SDG 4, SDG 9, SDG 11.

2. STEM and AI Workshops

STEM AI Workshop — students experiencing VibeCoding, drone control, and generative AI creation

From consumer to creator — from AI-powered creative work to enterprise-grade drone projects.

Our most groundbreaking programme direction for 2026–27. We don't just teach students to "use AI" — we teach them to build real things with AI. Core modules include:

  • Vibe Coding AI App Development — Using AI-assisted programming, students create a fully working app within a single day.
  • Generative AI Multimedia Creation — Using generative AI tools to produce video, images, and audio content.
  • Avatar AI Virtual Character Projects — Designing personalised AI avatars and exploring future human-machine interaction applications.
  • Drone Operation Training (Aerial / FPV) — Including CAD Advanced Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permit training.
  • Industrial Drone Applications (Enterprise Projects) — Designing and executing real drone missions based on commercial business scenarios.

INSPIRE® has a consistent position on technology education: We only teach what we can genuinely deliver. We choose honest engagement with technical limits over inflated promises, and we take students through real, meaningful projects rather than manufactured demonstrations.

3. Empowerment and Communication Workshops

Empowerment and Communication Workshop — students practising public speaking and interview skills

Helping students not just have great ideas — but communicate them clearly and powerfully.

Many students have talent and ideas, but struggle to express themselves in interviews, presentations, or even group discussions. This is not a fixed personality trait — it is a skill that has simply never been systematically trained. INSPIRE®'s Empowerment and Communication workshops cover: public speaking and interview skills, self-introduction and Q&A training, mock competition prep sessions, and pitching innovative ideas and personal value.

Combined with the Inspire AI platform, students can practise live voice mock interviews outside class hours — supporting English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with five-dimensional real-time scoring. Aligned with SDG 4 and SDG 8.

4. Wellness Exploration Workshops

Wellness Exploration Workshop — mindfulness, essential oil aromatherapy, and stress relief

Students need more than knowledge — they need the inner resources to face challenges.

INSPIRE® believes mental wellbeing is the prerequisite for all learning. Our 2026–27 Wellness workshops include: Brain Gym® (Dennison) workshops, CPTG®-certified pure essential oil perfume and handmade soap crafting, essential oil candle and diffuser stone workshops, shoulder and neck massage for stress relief, sound and aromatherapy healing, and mindfulness practice.

Led by certified aromatherapy instructors. Suitable for exam season stress relief, class bonding, parents' days, career planning weeks, and more. Aligned with SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 12.

INSPIRE® AI Education Products: Learning That Continues Beyond the Classroom

INSPIRE AI Education Products — CoRight AI, Inspire AI, STEM AI platform

Three AI education applications that extend the impact of every INSPIRE® workshop:

  • CoRight AI — A HKDSE English learning platform with real-time AI feedback scored across the HKEA's three assessment domains, complete with a teacher class management dashboard.
  • Inspire AI — A university interview training platform with live voice mock interviews, five-dimensional scoring, English/Cantonese/Mandarin support, and a teacher analytics dashboard.
  • STEM AI — Custom learning pathways tied to school workshops, automatic data collection to support differentiated teaching materials, and CAD Advanced Drone Operator certification support.

The shared philosophy across all three: Guided learning — not one-click answer generation.
